Holly Steinke has worked in the field of Deaf Education for thirty years, interpreting at all levels from pre-school to graduate school, as well as in the community. Her credentials include EIPA 4.0 and TSC (Nationally Certified Cued Language Transliterator), and she plans to test for the BEI certification in 2023. In addition, Holly is a certified Basic Cued Language Instructor through the National Cued Speech Association.
Holly earned her bachelor’s degree in U.S. History and Secondary Education from the University of Northern Colorado (UNC). While she is no longer teaching in the classroom, she uses her skills to tutor students in various subjects at the high school level.
Holly has taught community American Sign Language classes for a Colorado school district, taught numerous Cued American Language workshops for professionals and families, served as Vice President and President of the Rocky Mountain Cued Speech Association, and is currently the Rocky Mountain Regional Representative for the National Cued Speech Association.
